The above picture tells a story of some of the athletes that I have trained on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting in Iowa. Some of those athletes have gone on to play Division I, II, III, NAIA or JUCO and some of those athletes are from high school or younger. Either way, my mission is to make you better, reach your potential and grow your volleyball IQ. See this video!
Lessons for two or more athletes is an option. I have gone up to 7 during one session. But I want to make sure it is the right fit. Putting a beginner from the 3rd grade, matched up with a kid going to play in Division I, doesn't help anyone.
My preference is to have the parent(s) and / or guardians not attend the lessons. Why? Some athletes need that judgement free zone or non-parent pressure to improve. With having the athlete not able to look over to the parent for approval, lessons tends to be more beneficial.
Also, there are those adults that will try to listen of how I train and try to duplicate it. Trust me, I have been in this sport for decades crafting my skill set. Listening to a couple of lessons won't make you a trusted advisor to your athlete.
Yes, I own a Vertimax V8. We use it all the time and I believe in resistant training to improve your vertical jump and quickness. It's a great workout. Take a look at this video of some of the exercises we do with the VERTIMAX! Just ask for Vertimax training along with your volleyball lesson and we will include it, at no extra charge.
I have a gift. Life experience as a Coach, Player and Father, I have a unique ability to reach athletes in an empathetic way. Some athletes don't have a place to go to chat about... well anything. With "Sully Time" (as my parents and athletes call it), the athletes and I discuss anything really... and I mean anything that is going on in their lives. On and off the court. It's amazing how much better the session is after our chats.
Lessons for adults: whether you are a beginner, weekend warrior or advanced, if you are wanting to improve on technique, you are more than welcome to sign up. I wish more adults would take advantage of the training.
If you need a clinic for your school or your team, I am more than welcome to chat with you about what you want and the cost associated with putting on a camp or clinic.

The cost is $50 per athlete per hour solo.
The cost for 2+ athletes is $40 each, per hour.

Like my lessons in Iowa, I will train any athlete from any club or non club. I am not a team coach for any club. I'm just here to make players better and to raise their volleyball IQ.
